Active Aid

Active Aid is a network of independent professional trainers delivering First Aid courses certified by Active Aid Ltd. Active Aid is a not for profit company created to certify courses, reduce administration and overhead costs by using a virtual office.

Deliverers of First Aid courses pay an initial set up fee of £50. The suitability of new Deliverers will be decided by Active Aid's trustees.

Deliverers that become part of the Active Aid team and lead courses pay £3 a certificate for the first 40 certificates in a 12 month period followed by £1 per certificate.

Deliverers need to have been observed delivering training to the required standard by two Active Aid monitoring trainers before being able to organise their own courses.

Subscription charges will be reviewed at an AGM and altered if necessary in order not to make a profit. Deliverers can choose to advertise their courses on the website and can also access a database of resources. They will be able to print pre-course materials and certificates to give clients and can also direct clients to a database of resources and relevant web links etc.

New Deliverers need to submit (if available) a log of previous training and courses delivered, a CV, a CPD log and a FAW certificate
