About Active Aid
First Aid Training That Meets and Exceeds HSE Standards
Since 2013, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has no longer approved or inspected first aid training providers. Instead, it establishes national standards that all providers must adhere to.

Two Ways to Comply with HSE Requirements:
-
Umbrella Accreditation
Through an external organisation that monitors its members
-
Self-Regulation
By meeting HSE standards through robust internal systems
Active Aid follows the self-regulation model.
Why? Because we're a close-knit team of independent, experienced trainers who hold each other to high standards. Every Active Aid trainer is part of a continuous development and quality assurance process. This is tracked automatically in our system, and any trainer who falls behind is paused from delivering courses until they're back on track.
What does that mean for you?
Every course we deliver is up-to-date, fully compliant, and taught by someone who knows their subject matter.
We don't just tick boxes we make first aid training practical, relevant, and unforgettable.
