This qualification is a must for all Level 3 Practitioners and those supporting Level 3 Practitioners. Highly practical & hands on first aid training suitable for anyone leading children in outdoor activities, particularly suitable for forest schools and similar outdoor learning settings.
Paediatric first aid, as required by the Department for Education or local authorities, which complies with the syllabus produced by OFSTED for first-aid provision for children in a school or other childcare setting

Course Content
A systematic approach to incident management
Infant, Child Resuscitation procedures
Choking
Bleeding - internal/external, major/minor
Shock - hypovolemic and anaphylactic
Hypothermia and hyperthermia
Febrile convulsions
Treating Damage - suspected fractures, head, neck and back injuries
Eye injuries and foreign bodies in eyes, ears and noses
Bites and stings
Poisoning
Burns and scalds
Electric shock
Common illness - epilepsy, asthma, sickle cell anaemia, diabetes
