I was really glad that the trainer taught us about the difference with male and female heart attack symptoms and spoke about removing bras when using a defibrillator. He was very knowledgeable about the statistics on women being less likely to receive CPR. This is the first time I have seen a first aid trainer acknowledge this and I think it’s great. 10/10

Luke was an excellent communicator and facilitator - the practical learning on this course was superb - so much better than any First Aid course I have been on before. Luke took the time to genuinely welcome and know who was in the room which enhanced the learning from the beginning. He had the skills to help people feel comfortable about getting involved in a very active way. Very well run course with an excellent trainer, the homemade cake is always a plus too. It's good to see the advancement in training equipment being used from when I last went on one of Luke's Outdoor First Aid courses, which really helps to make sure that you're doing things in the correct manner, along with practical scenarios to put the theory into practice.
