The ability Andrew had in explaining things and why was great. For years i have known how to use a defibrillator but not the understanding of why the pads go where they do. I know now! There were numerous other explanations as to why, which other first aid courses have failed to achieve the theory behind in the level of detail i received on this course.

A really great and thorough course, however, I'm not sure if I missed it on the welcome email but, my colleague and I didn't know the finish time.
Our health and safety officer booked it so maybe she had the info. But I couldn't find confirmation. Just handy for childcare purposes. Apologies if I've just missed it.

There was an awful lot to learn during this day course but I felt the information was very clear and easy to keep track of as the day went on. The day flowed well and it was great to be able to ask questions as we went along rather than have questions at the end. We had opportunities to look at equipment and handle and learn how they work which was great.

Andy is a fabulous teacher, engaging the group and using his own real life front lint experiences to give us examples of possible scenarios.
The room was set out well and the equipment was very clean and up to date. Safety always came first too.
I found the course informative, interesting, engaging and literally life saving.
Personally I feel that courses such as this should be taught in schools and updated annually giving us all a better understanding of first aid and may be easing the pressure on our valuable NHS.
I can’t rate this highly enough…An absolute 10 out of 10 from me.
