I signed up as work had offered the training and I thought it would be a good thing to have a refresher on. It’s definitely the best first aid course I have attended - interactive with a good balance of hands on learning vs knowledge taught. The equipment was so useful - not only do I feel more confident if I had to use these skills but I’ve also learnt invaluable lessons on choking, heart attacks etc which you never know when you might need - not just in the work place. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and Ross was an excellent trainer. Highly recommend this course to anyone - great tool set to have!

A helpful and practical one day First Aid course relevant to our working environment and the types of injuries we might encounter and how to deal with them. Simon pointed out to us that when administering First Aid we would be dealing with a patient, not just an injury and not to lose sight of that. I have attended many First Aid courses in the past and have never come across the AVPU scale for quickly assessing a patient’s level of consciousness before, which was great to learn about and practise. Simon had a down to earth approach, put us all at ease and gave first hand examples of dealing with First Aid situations we might come across. I would highly recommend.
